Story
Hi lovely friends
On October 17th I will be stepping off the top of a 33 storey building, dressed as Cat Woman (who else?!), to raise money for a charity close to my heart.
The Sir David Martin Foundation and its major project, Triple Care Farm, helps some of Australia's most in-need youth who are struggling with homelessness, addiction and mental health issues by giving them the tools to untangle their problems, and equipping them with skills to make positive changes in their lives.
Superheroes Are Go!
Together with a team of six colleagues, all dressed as superheroes, we will be abseiling down Investa Tower, 1 Market Street, Sydney (134 metres high)! I've been told it has some spectacular views of Darling Harbour and the CBD <gulp>.
My Goal
Each team member must raise $1500 in order to make the descent and fulfil our superhero mandate. If I don’t reach my individual goal, I am unable to take part and assist young Australians who really need this program.
You can be a Superhero too!
By donating to this incredible project, not only will you be helping me to reach my target and complete the abseil, but you will also be playing a part in saving the lives of young people who are unable to help themselves. It’s win-win!
The beauty is, you can donate any amount, however large or small, to make a difference. Pretty cool, huh?
So what are you waiting for? Pull on those underpants over your jeans and click on Donate to be a real life superhero. Every little bit counts!
Thank you for supporting my challenge and helping to make a difference to youth in crisis in Australia. I think you're purr-fectly amazing!
Love,

Activity
Sir David Martin Foundation
Sir David Martin Foundation was set up in 1990 by the much loved Governor of New South Wales, Sir David Martin, four days prior to his death. The Foundation aims to realise the dream of Sir David Martin of an Australian community “where children can grow up in safety with hope and opportunity”. The Foundation raises funds for innovative and effective Mission Australia run youth crisis programs. We provide care, counselling, training and support for young people in crisis and foster community understanding of their needs and potential. With the goal to get more young people off the streets, away from unhealthy situations and into care and rehabilitation. We aim to encourage them in a new sense of self belief so that they can face the community at large without the need for drugs, crime and homelessness.
